The Story of Moses page 3
"So take Moses out of the city fearfully, waiting anxiously, he prayed: 'O my Lord, save me from those who do wrong!'" (Qur'an 28: 21)
Prophet Musa (as) left the city and became an outcast. Prophet Musa (as) immediately came out in a state of fear and while alert the Prophet Musa (as) always prayed in his heart: "O my Lord, save me from the wrongdoers". Those people really are wrong-doers. They wanted to apply the punishment for the deliberate murder of the prophet Musa, whereas the prophet Musa did not do anything other than try to separate the people who were fighting but he unknowingly killed him. Prophet Musa (as) immediately left Egypt. He no longer went to the pharaoh's palace and did not change his clothes, and did not bring food for the trip. He did not bring a mounted animal that could deliver it. He also did not go with a caravan. He immediately left when he got word from a believer who reminded him of the threat of the pharaoh.
The Prophet Musa walked through a road that is not normally passed by people. The Prophet was able to enter the desert and he went to a place where God guided him. This is the first time he came out and waded through the desert alone. Then the prophet Moses arrived at a place called Madyan. The Prophet Moses rested and sat near a large well where people fetched water to feed their riding animals and also their herds. The Prophet Musa did not bring food other than tree leaves. Prophet Musa (as) drank from the wells he found in the middle of the road. Throughout the journey Moses felt fear, don't let pharaoh send people to arrest him. When the Prophet Musa (as) arrived in the city of Madyan the Prophet Musa (as) lay on the side of a tree and rested. Prophet Musa (as) felt hungry and tired. The sandals he was wearing were starting to break. He did not have sufficient funds to buy new sandals, nor did he have enough money to buy drinks or food.
Prophet Musa (as) observed the herdsmen who were fetching water for their goats. Prophet Musa (as) remembered that he was hungry and thirsty. He said to himself: "I can fill my stomach with water as long as I don't have enough money to buy food: the prophet Musa then walked to the water. Before arriving, he found two women who were separating their goats so as not to be mixed with other people's goats. Through inspiration, the prophet Musa felt that the two women needed help. Prophet Musa (as) forgot his thirst, so he went to them and asked, if he could help them? Then the oldest girl said:
"We waited until the completion of the shepherds fetch water for their animals" then the prophet Moses asked:
"Why don't you take water now?" Then the little girl said:
"We cannot afford to jostle with men." Prophet Musa was astonished to learn that the two girls were herding goats. The ones who should be herding goats are men. It was a tough and very tiring task, women should not be herding.
"Why are you herding goats?" The little girl said again:
"Our parents are old where their health cannot help them get out of the house and goat herding every day." Hearing this the Prophet Musa said then:
"Then, I will help you to get the water"
Prophet Musa walked to the place of water. The prophet Moses of water knew that the shepherds laid on the lips of a water a large stone which could not be moved except by ten people. Prophet Musa (as) embraced and lifted him from the lip of the well. The muscles of the Prophet Musa (as) stood out as he moved the stone. Prophet Moses is a strong man. Finally, the prophet Musa (as) managed to get water for the teenage daughter, and then she returned the stone to its place. Prophet Musa (as) returned to sit in the shade of a tree. At that time the prophet Musa forgot to drink. The belly of the prophet Musa pressed against his back because he was so hungry. The Prophet Musa (as) remembered the almighty God and called Him to himself:
"So Moses gave the livestock a drink to (help) both, then he returned to the place of the grieved and then prayed:" O my Lord, in fact I really need a good that you sent down to me "(Qs. 28: 24)
The two girls returned to their father's house. The father asked:
"Today you return sooner than usual?"
The oldest girl said:
"Really today we are very lucky. O father, we met a noble man who fetched water for our animals before others took it "
The father said
"Alhamdulullah"
The youngest girl said:
"I think, O my father, he came from a far place and looked like he was hungry. I see him in a state of exhaustion even though he is a strong man ”
Then the father said to his daughter:
"Go thou to him and say, verily my father called you to reward you for your services to fetch water for me". Then the girl went to meet the Prophet Musa in a state of palpitations. The woman stood in front of the Prophet Musa and delivered a letter from his father. Prophet Musa (as) rose from his seat and looked down. Prophet Musa (as) did not intend to fetch water for them in order to expect their reward. He helped them only because of Allah SWT. He felt in himself that it was Allah who moved him to help them.
The girl walked in front of the Prophet Musa and then the wind blew and touched his clothes so that the Prophet Musa looked down into his eyes in shame. The Prophet Musa said to the girl:
"I will walk in front of you and show me the way". They arrived at the father's residence. Some commentators say that under me I am the Prophet Syu'aib as. He gained a long life after the death of his people. The old man presented the prophet Musa with lunch and asked him where he had come from and then where he was going,
Prophet Muas as revealed his story. The old man said to him, don't worry and don't be afraid. You will be saved from the wrong people. This country is not subject to Egypt and they will not get here. Hearing this, the prophet Musa (as) calmed down and rose to leave. One of the daughters said to his father in a whisper:
"O my father, grant him wages. Surely you will reward someone who is strong and honest "
The father asked him:
"How do you know he is a strong man"
His daughter answered
"I saw for myself that he was lifting stones that were unable to be lifted by ten men"
The father asked again:
"How do you know that he is honest?"
The woman answered:
"He refused to walk behind me and he walked in front of me so he did not see me when I walked. And during the trip when I was talking with him, he always lowered his eyes to the ground as a shame and good manners from him "
Then the old man looked at the Prophet Musa (as) and said to him:
"O Musa, I want to marry you to one of my daughters. With the condition, you should work herding goats with me for eight years. If you perfect ten years then it is your mercy. I do not want to bother you, truly God willing you will find me, including those who are pious ”
The Prophet Musa (as) later said:
"This is an agreement between me and you and Allah SWT as a witness to our agreement, whether I will carry out work for eight years or ten years. After that, I'm free to go anywhere "
Allah SWT said
"Then Moses came, one of the two women walking shyly, he said:
"Verily, my father calls you so that he will give back (your) goodness to give us drink (livestock)". So when Musa came to his father (Syu'aib) and told him a story (about him), Syu'aib said:
"Do not be afraid. You have survived the wrongdoers "One of the two women said:
"O my father, take him as a person who works (on us), because in fact the most good person you take to work (on us) is a strong person who can be trusted again. Bless him (Syu'aib)
"Actually I intend to marry you to one of my two children, on the basis that you work with me eight years and if you make enough ten years then it is (a favor) from you, then I have no right to incriminate you. And you will hopefully find me including good people ". He (Moses) said:
"That is (the agreement) between me and you. Whichever of the two prescribed times I perfect, there are no additional demands on me (again). And Allah is a witness of what I say "(Qur'an 28: 25-28)
Then the Prophet Musa was married to one of the daughters of the prophet SYu'aib as and the predetermined covenant had been carried out and carried out by the Prophet Musa.
Prophet Musa (as) left the city and became an outcast. Then the Prophet Musa was married to one of the daughters of the prophet SYu'aib as and the predetermined covenant had been carried out and carried out by the Prophet Musa.
Thus the prophet Musa served the prophet Shu'aib as for the full ten years. The work of the Prophet Musa (as) was limited to leaving the house in the morning to goat herding. Ten years of time spent by the Prophet Musa as in Madyan is a provision designed by Allah SWT.
Prophet Musa as based on Islam and the religion of monotheism. Prophet Musa (as) spent ten years in a state far from his people and family. This ten year period is the most important period in his life. It is a great preparation period. Every night the Prophet Musa (as) pondered the stars. Prophet Musa (as) followed the rising sun and setting. Every afternoon the prophet Moses thought of plants; how he defends the land and blooms. The Prophet Musa watched the day; how he revived the earth after it died, then the earth became a beautiful and fertile place. Prophet Musa (as) paid attention to the vast nature and he was impressed and impressed with the creation of Allah SWT.
Actually these thoughts and contemplations were far in advance hidden in him and settled in his soul. Is not the prophet Musa as educated in the court of Pharaoh. This means that he became an Egyptian who had broad insight, the Egyptian showed his physical strength, the Egyptian with all his food and drinks. So, everything in the prophet Musa (as) smelled of Egypt. Prophet Musa (as) was ready to accept wayu from Allah in a new form. Namely the Divine Wayu who came directly without the intermediary of an angel where Allah SWT who spoke with him directly.
Therefore, before the arrival of the watyu it is necessary to have mental and moral preparation, while the physical preparation has been completed in Egypt. The Prophet Musa (as) grew up in the greatest sitana of the rulers on earth and in the richest government on earth. Prophet Musa (as) became a strong young man who not only separated someone who was fighting, but killed him even if accidentally. After strong physical preparation, now the prophet Musa (as) had to go through balanced mental preparation. That is the preparation made through perfect seclusion in which he lives in the midst of the teacher and the shepherding that he has never set foot in there. He lives in the midst of strangers he has never seen before.
Often the prophet Musa (as) found solitude and silence behind the exile. Allah SWT prepared this matter to His prophet so that after that he was able to hold the great mandate of Allah SWT. One day, the prophet Muas as came. Complete the specified period. Then the prophet Musa felt a longing to return to Egypt. With the passage of time, the sentence he had to undergo automatically fell.
Prophet Musa (as) knew that, but he also knew that the law in Egypt actually lies in the power of the ruler, if the ruler wishes, the Prophet Musa can accept punishment, and if he does not, then he will memorize it, even though the person concerned is entitled to punishment. Prophet Musa (as) was aware of that, the prophet Muas (as) was not entirely sure he would be saved when he set foot in Egypt as he believed that he was safe in his present place. Nevertheless, his longing to travel back to his place pushed the Prophet Musa (as) to head to Egypt immediately. Prophet Moses made the right decision.
Prophet Musa (as) said to his wife:
"Tomorrow we will begin the journey to Egypt:
"On the way there are a thousand kinds of danger but still calm decorate Moses." The wife of the prophet Musa as obedient to the prophet Musa as.
Prophet Musa (as) went out with his family and traveled. The moon hid behind a thick cloud and darkness covered here and there. Meanwhile, lightning struck very hard and the sky sent rain. The weather seems unfriendly. In the middle of his journey, the prophet Musa as lost. The Prophet Musa (as) got two pieces of stone then he hit them and swiped them together to get fire from him so that he could walk. But unfortunately, he was not able to do that. A strong wind blew out the small fire.
Prophet Musa (as) stood in a state of confusion and his body seemed to shiver in the midst of his family. Then Musa (as) raised his head and watched something from afar. Something that he witnessed was a great sabbath of fire which flared in the distance. So the heart of Musa Musa was filled with joy. He said to the exit:
"I saw a fire there"
Then he ordered them to stay in his place so he went to the fire. Maybe there he got something news or would find someone who could give him a clue so that he didn't get lost, or he could bring a flaming fire so their bodies warmed up.
His family saw the fire that was implied by the prophet Musa (as) but actually they did not see anything. They kept waiting and sat while waiting for the coming of the prophet Musa. Prophet Musa (as) moved to the place of fire. Prophet Musa (as) immediately walked and warmed his body, while his right hand was holding his cane and his body was soaking wet from the rain. The Prophet Musa (as) continued until he reached a valley called Thua '. He witnessed something unique in this place. There was no cold in the valley and no blowing wind. There is only silence. Prophet Musa (as) approached the fire. Not long ago he approached him so he heard a voice call:
"So when he arrived at the place, he called out:‘ that those who were near the fire had blessed, and those around him. And the almighty Allah, Lord of the worlds (Qur'an 27: 8)
When the Prophet Musa came to a halt and his body shivered. The sound seemed to be heard and came from all places and came from a certain place. The Prophet saw the fire and he felt shivering again. Prophet Musa (as) saw fire and he again felt shivering. He found a green tree from thorns and every time the tree caught fire and flared from it, the tree became increasingly green. The tree should have turned black when it burned, but strangely the fire actually increased the green color. Prophet Musa (as) continued to shiver even though he felt warmth and seemed to be sweating.
