FUTURE PERFECT TENSE

Pola
( + ) S + shall/will + have + verb-III + O.
( - ) S + shall/will + not + have +verb-III + O.
( ? ) Shall/Will + S + have + verb-III + O ?

Contoh:
(+) Mary will have read this book by the and of this week.
(-) Mary will not have read this book by the end of this week.
(?) will Mary have read this book by the end of this week?.(Yes,Mary will/No,Mary won’t).

Digunakan untuk menanyakan suatu peristiwa / perbuatan yang akan sudah terjadi / dilakukan di waktu yang akan datang .

e.g:

By this time next year, John will have taken his university degree.
In two year’s time, I shall have left Yogyakarta.

Keterangan Waktu :

In two year’s time : dalam waktu 2 tahun.
By this time next year : pada saat ini tahun depan
By the end of ......... : menjelang akhir ........
By next August : menjelang Agustus depan
By ............ : menjelang .............

( - ) S + shall/will-not + have been + complement.
( ? ) Shall/Will + S + have been + complement?

Contoh : She will have been here by the end of this week.

RUMUS MENGGUNAKAN KATA TANYA:

1. Untuk menanyakan subject: Q.W. + will have + verb-III + O ?
2. Untuk menanyakan selain subject: Q.W. + will + S + have + verb-III ?

Contoh : Vian will have done his job by at 7 o’clock tonight.
